The Driver's licence

As I arrived here in Zambia I found out right away that I need to get a Zambian driver's license.  The test has to be taken with a stick shift vehicle.  Plus, the people have told me that I have to take a written test first.  Supposely you do not pass either one on the first try.  Oh, and did I mention that I have not driven a stick shift for like ever and I was not good at it when I did drive it.  Also, they drive on the other side of the road.  So I have some work to do! :)  This will  be a process as I am learnig everything is here in Zambia......a slower process.:)  ....I did practice this weekend!  Here is what I drove!

Cliff Diving!

As the time quickly approaches for me to head off to Zambia, I feel like I am at a top of a cliff ready to jump.  I am nervous, excited, happy, sad, and I have many other emotions running through me as I peek over the cliff. As I jump off who knows what awaits me at the bottom but it is that unknown that is exciting to me.  This has been a great journey and I believe it will continue to be as I jump off  many more cliffs in the future.  Thank Goodness I know who is catching me on the other end.
